I am an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign working in labor, public, and urban economics. I study how new policies and technologies affect people, firms, and cities. My research combines novel data from field experiments, surveys, and new measurement approaches with economic theory.
You can reach me at abartik@illinois.edu or schedule a meeting.
I regularly involve Illinois students in my research; please get in touch.
